Welcome to St.John’s High School, Nawatanr

St.john’s School Nawatanr was started as Primary School by the Belgian Jesuits of the then Ranchi Province. Later is was raised to a Middle School and was administered by the Parish through the St. Ann’s Sisters. The Montfort Brothers of St.Gabriel are administering the school from 1964. Presently the Primary and middle school is being run by the Sisters of St. Ann. St. John’s High School is an aided Hindi medium co-ed school. The School follows the Jharkhand State Syllabus.

Recognition
It was recognized by the then Govt of Bihar through latter No:6168, Patna, dated 9th March 1968.

Minority Status
The school has received declaration as a Minority Institution by letter No.5711, Patna, dated 27th Febuary, 1970.
